Obama's Good Day

John McCain screwed up big time yesterday saying that the "fundamentals" of the economy are strong, giving the Obama campaign a big opening, and they've carried it over the past 24 hours. I think his focus, Biden's focus and the ads have been hard-hitting, and McCain has only made it worse.

Palin, meanwhile, is beginning to implode. All of this is good for Obama, but he needs to keep going full-force and bring out all the guns, including groups that will go negative. One thing that has been true about the Obama campaign in the past is that when they have rebounded, they sort of rest at the crest rather than keep going. We have 49 days left, and they just need to barrel through. It was a good day, let's make tomorrow better.
