Take No Prisoners

A few callers to the show today thought we were making too much of Palin's tanning bed and McCain's advisor claiming he created the Blackberry. Mind you, we spent three and half hours on all the big issues -- one hour on the economy, another two hours on McCain's lies, Palin's lies, Obama's positions on major issues, troopergate, conservative backlash against Palin, the healthcare plan of John McCain, and on and on -- and then for 20 minutes at the end of the show I talked about the tanning bed and the Blackberry. The point was not to be as petty as the Republicans -- but to give them a taste of their own medicine and show the hypocrisy of their claims.

Here's Palin, selling her appeal as small town woman, not "Hollywood" like those liberals, and there she is with her tanning bed, and of course the energy it uses, and the skin cancer issue on and on. And well, McCain the Blackberry is irresistible. We need to hit these people from every angle they might hit, and hit them hard. I have no sympathy for them on anything.
