The rightist humor writer Christopher Buckley, son of the late conservative icon William F. Buckley Jr., is the newest casualty in the Republican Party class war.He announced the other day that can't support John McCain (even though he has written a speech for him in the past, and even though this would have had parents cut off his allowance if they were still alive), and is now supporting Barack Obama. In retaliation, the National Review -- the conservative journal his father founded -- dumped him as a columnist.
If they're melting down now and attacking each other now, wait until after the election.
