Networks May Call it Early

We'll get into this on the show today. Curious to get your thoughts. We've not been in this situation in this age of 24/7 cable news, where a candidate may get the 270 electoral votes before polls are closed in the West. Actually, CBS is saying they may call the race well before that, perhaps upon seeing Virginia go to Obama as well as a few other states.

What do you think of this? On the one hand, it could hamper voting, particularly in California, where we are trying to get people out to vote against Prop 8. On the other hand, if one of the candidate's reaches 270 how can they not comment on it? Of course, it's not up to them to claim a winner. But you know how it plays. Your thoughts.
