Day Without a Gay?

Would people really want me to take off (again) from the show and "call in gay" tomorrow? I've called in sick, holiday and jury duty quite a bit in the past three weeks. I don't see why a gay host whose audience is gay, lesbian, bi, trans, straight and everything else, would be doing anything radical by calling in gay. What do we really think of this Day Without a Gay protest? And are you participating? Your thoughts please.
