Today's Show: A Way Forward on DADT

4:30pm EST - In an interview with NY Daily News, Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut says he announce that he plans on taking a lead on legislation to pass a bill that will repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." The big question is: Is the White House leading the effort and will it call for the vote to be added to the Defense Authorization bill or is Lieberman going on his own, with a stand-alone bill that will have a tough chance of passing?

Servicemembers United executive director Alexander Nicholson, a former U.S. Army Human Intelligence Collector who was discharged under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" will join me to talk about the plan his group has laid out, including a timetable, for how the President and the Congress can and should proceed on DADT.. He joins us this afternoon.
