Today's Show: "The Kennedys" Smear

3:30pm EST - The History Channel has given a green light to start filming a new mini-series surrounding the life of President John F Kennedy called "The Kennedys." Conservative Joel Surnow, creator of FOX's "24," is the creator of this project, which has many Kennedy historians concerned about some of the historical inaccuracies in the script and a clear right-wing bias. Joining us to talk about these is Rick Perlstein, author of the New York Times bestseller Nixonland: The Rise of a President and the Fracturing of America, who says on the Stop The Kennedy Smears petition, "It struck me that the writer wanted to tell as distorted a story as possible, and find very little in the Kennedy years that possessed any dignity what so ever."
