Today on the Signorile Show

A video that was posted on Wikileaks.org showing American Apache helicopters firing on a Reuters photographer and his crew in Iraq in 2007, killing several people including civilians thought to be insurgents, has stirred outrage among some while welcomed by many as exposing the the truth about a troubling incident in which the rules of engagement, it is charged, were not followed. We'll be discussing it and listening in to the chilling tape.

This morning, there is news that the Obama White House will be announcing that it will seek to narrow circumstances on how the US will use its current nuclear arsenal. According to The Guardian, "The US will not use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states that comply with the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, even if it is attacked with biological or chemical weapons." We'll discuss.

John McCain is suffering from amnesia...or something. He now claims he "is not a maverick." And he says he never called himself that. What? We'll go to the tape, and take your calls.

Guest / 3:30pm EST - Though we'd like to think that we've thrown the blinders off to past prejudices, the debate swirling around LGBT equality are proof enough that we are still a nation divided. Martha Nussbaum, author of From Disgust to Humanity: Sexual Orientation & Constitutional Law, joins us this afternoon to talk about how the political rhetoric around the LGBT equality and how this rhetoric has been rooted in disgust for years.

Guest / 4:30pm EST - In an attempt to get more people to fill out the 2010 Census, the Census Bureau is reaching out to LGBT Americans and encouraging them to fill out the form as married, even if they aren't legally married. Tim Olson, Census Bureau Assistant Division Chief, joins us to explain why.

It's true! Constance McMillen was sent to a sham prom -- a decoy -- while the straight gay-hating prom went on. We spoke with Constance yesterday, we'll get back into this today.

Is there a lack of outreach to our allies? According to NAACP President Benjamin Jealous, there is. Jealous says that if the LGBT community feels that the African American community is not with them in their fight for equality, that is our own fault for not making the effort to reach out to the African American community for help. Should we be making more of an attempt or are we doing enough to get the support of other groups in the quest for equality? I want to get your opinion on the issue today.
