There are more reports of media being died access to the area of the Gulf oil spill. According to the New York Times, "Officials at BP and the government entities coordinating the response said instances of denying news media access have been anomalies, and they pointed out that the company and the government have gone to great lengths to accommodate the hundreds of journalists who have traveled to the gulf to cover the story." Are these in fact anomalies as the government and BP officials claim? We'll discuss this afternoon.

Illinois Senate candidate and allegedly closeted Republican Congressman Mark Kirk has had his fair share of scandals recently, including questions regarding his service. Now he is under a microscope from the Department of Defense for campaigning while he was on active duty. We'll go over his alleged scandal's and put him under our microscope, too.
