Today On The Signorile Show!

4:35pm ET - In June of 1940 during World War II, German tanks entered a silent Paris and took over the city eight days later. In his book, When Paris Went Dark: The City of Light Under German Occupation 1940-1944, Ronald C. Rosbottom, professor of French and European studies at Amherst College, looked through personal diaries, historical pamphlets, and interviewed those who experienced the occupation first-hand, putting together a chronicle of Nazi-occupied Paris.  Professor Rosbottom joins us today to talk about his book which serves as an account of what it was like to be living in the city of lights during those “dark days.”

We will be off on Labor Day, Monday 09/01/14, but don't worry we have a very special 'Best Of' The Michelangelo Signorile Show lined up.  Michelangelo will be back live on the air on Tuesday 09/02/14.  Have great Labor Day Holiday weekend!
