3:35pm ET - Fox News and others in the Right Wing conservative media have been politicizing the attack on the diplomatic outpost and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya for more than two years, all in an effort to turn that tragic event into a phony scandal to hurt President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.  Now, starting tomorrow the House select committee, the latest Republican-run body to follow what has been a parade of costly and repetitive investigations into the Benghazi terror attack that killed four Americans will hold its first public hearing and according to some reports these hearings could last well into the 2016 election year.   Joining us to make sense of this latest bit of Republican theater is Eric Boehlert a senior Fellow at Media Matters for America.  You can also follow Eric on twitter.

4:35pm ET - The Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund, an LGBT group that works to elect LGBT candidates across the country regardless of party affiliation may in fact be doing more damage than good to the cause of LGBT equality.  By supporting Republican LGBT candidates the group is actually helping the anti-LGBT GOP maintain its majority and keep pro-LGBT votes from happening.  Joining us today to discuss the Victory Fund and its support for gay Republican candidates like Richard Tisei in Massachusetts is former member of the U.S. House of Representatives Barney Frank.
