3:35pm ET - A recent poll
commissioned by the Republican groups Crossroads GPS and American Action Network found that most women think the GOP is “stuck in the past” and
“intolerant.” But despite these findings the party has hardly budged on its
hard line stances which have alienated women, such as reproductive rights and
pay equity. Furthermore, research suggests that Republicans lost women by such
huge margins in 2012 not only because of offensive messaging, but because of
their extreme policy stances. Joining us
to discuss the GOP’s latest efforts to woe women back to the party, like supporting
over-the-counter birth control access, is Aviva Shen and associate editor at ThinkProgress. You can also follow Aviva on twitter.
