Today On The Signorile Show

3:35pm ET - The Justices of the Supreme Court are currently deciding which cases they will hear in their upcoming term, and of all the cases currently under consideration marriage equality remains the most closely watched.  Joining us to discusses the possibility of whether or not the Supreme Court will take up Marriage Equality and what the possible outcomes of that decision will be is Arthur Leonard, Professor of Law at New York Law School.

4:35pm ET - All around the United States there is widespread concern that imbalances in voter turnout across race and class have led to biased outcomes in American democracy.   According to the New York Times, disparities between the percentage of black residents and the number of black elected officials are facts of life in scores of American cities, particularly in the South.  Joining us today to discuss this problem and the possible solutions is Jessica Trounstine, an Associate Professor of Political Science, at the University of California Merced who has extensively researched this topic.  You can also follow Jessica on twitter.
