4:35pm ET - Last night it was reported that the hate group the American Family Association had finally fired the Religious Right's most notorious bigot, Bryan Fischer.  However according to Right Wing Watch it appears that he has not actually been dismissed but has merely been stripped of his title as director of issues analysis and his role as spokesman for the organization and will reportedly continue to produce his daily radio program for the AFA's radio arm, American Family Radio.  Joining us today to discuss this news is Peter Montgomery who oversees the People For the American Way Foundation’s research and writing on the Religious Right.  You can also follow Peter on twitter.
