4:05pm ET - In early November of 2014
the Supreme Court agreed to the hear the case of King v. Burwell which centers on the question of whether the
Internal Revenue Service may permissibly promulgate regulations to extend
tax-credit subsidies to coverage purchased through exchanges established by the
federal government under Section 1321 of the Patient Protection and Affordable
Care Act. The plaintiffs in the case are
seeking to defund much of the Affordable Care Act and strip health insurance
from as many as 13 million people.
Joining us today to discuss this lawsuit and who is actually behind it
is Ian Millhiser, a Senior Fellow at
