Today on The Signorile Show!

3:35pm ET - On Monday, Arizona became the first state in the Nation to pass a law requiring doctors who perform drug-induced abortions to tell women that the procedure may be reversible; an assertion that most doctors say is wrong and based on quack science.  Joining us today to explain this law and the problems with it is Jodi Liggett the director of public policy for Planned Parenthood Arizona. You can also follow Jodi on twitter.

4:35pm ET - Thanks to pushes by conservatives and Republicans through the 1980’s and 90’s, welfare, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) as it's called now, helps only 3.5 million Americans with checks that amount to far less than the poverty level; and as welfare has been eroded, most people who need help have turned to Social Security Disability Insurance, which is currently providing a safety net for 9 million Americans and is projected to go broke at the end of next year.  However, according to Olga Khazan, a staff writer at The Atlantic, basic flaws in the program's structure mean that many people will be forced to stay on assistance and never work again, despite their ability and willingness to do so.  Olga joins us today to discuss this important issue which she wrote all about for The Atlantic.  You can also follow Olga on twitter.
