As President Obama
considers action to address the problem of gun violence in the United States, a
group of leading law scholars, organized by the American Constitution Societyfor Law and Policy, have written a letter to the President in which they lay out
several constitutionally sound ways to curb gun violence. The letter argues that there are there are
numerous actions his Administration can take which are fully consistent with
the constitutional limitations on the President’s power, which preserve the
Second Amendment rights of Americans, while reducing gun violence and saving
lives. Joining me today to talk all
about the steps the President can take to address the nation’s gun violence
