The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127
Tomorrow, voters in Wisconsin will head to the
polls in their states presidential primaries, however when they arrive their
respective stations they will be facing for the first time one of the country’s
toughest voting restrictions which takes effect on Tuesday. Joining me today to
talk all about Wisconsin’s Voter-ID Law and how it could block 300,000
registered voters from the polls is Ari Berman, senior contributing writer for The Nation magazine
and a Fellow at The Nation Institute.
Yesterday, while
speaking with reporters in Israel during in his first trip abroad as House
speaker, Paul Ryan, insisted that he would not eventually emerge as the
Republican presidential nominee in a contested Republican convention. However, according to Adele Stan, a columnist at The American Prospect this might not end up being true despite the Speakers predictions. Adele joins me today on the show to talk all
about the possibility of Rep. Ryan coming away with the GOP nomination in
July.
