The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

All over the world people are talking about the incredible news that United Kingdom has voted to exit the European Union, the decision is historic and it will have ramifications all over the globe and will be sure to reshape the Britain’s place in the world.  Joining me today to talk all about the Brexit vote results and the possible effects they may have is Steve Clemons the Washington editor at large for The Atlantic and editor of Atlantic Live who writes frequently about politics and foreign affairs and is someone we turn to one the show whenever there is big breaking international news.

My guest is a friend of the show who is a political comedian and has written for CNN, the Daily Beast, the Huffington Post and until recently, was hosting a show weekends on SiriusXM Insight.  I say recently because now, Dean Obeidallah returns to the show to talk to me about his new show on Insight 121, which airs weekdays, 10a-12p ET, as well as get his take on some of the big issues we’ve been talking a lot about lately…

The nation is still in mourning as last week, the largest mass shooting in US history occurred at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, killing 49 people, largely LGBT-identifying, Hispanic youth.  How has this massacre impacted the city…  And how is it bringing the city together to stand up against hate?  Patty Sheehan, Orlando’s City Commissioner for 16 years and Orlando’s first openly-gay Commissioner, joins us now to reflect on what it’s been like trying to find answers these past 2 weeks.
