Today on The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

Today, President Obama's Executive Actions on Immigration were dealt a blow by the Supreme Court, when in a tied 4-4 vote signaled that those actions would be blocked and leaves the decision by the 5th Circuit in place.  How will this affect the 4 million immigrants President Obama was trying to protect with his Executive Action and what are the next steps? Julieta Garibay, Campaign Director and Co-Founder of United We Dream, joins us today to explain.

Noah Michelson, the Voices Editorial Director and Executive Editor of Queer Voices at The Huffington Post, and the co-host of the Love + Sex Podcast returns to the show as he does every Thursday to help us close out the week with the stories making headlines over at Queer Voices. You can also follow Noah on twitter.

This morning, the Supreme Court of the United States handed down two big decisions.  The first, upholding Affirmative Action in Fisher v. University of Texas, allowing the University of Texas to use the process in their admissions process; The second, United States v. Texas, dealing a blow to the Obama Administrations Immigration Executive Orders.  Mark Joseph Stern, legal analyst with Slate, returns to discuss the impact of these cases, especially in the wake of Justice Scalia's death and the delaying of Judge Merrick Garland's hearings.
