Since February, California lawmakers have been considering a bill that would protect LGBT college students from discrimination by religious universities, and on Tuesday, a national coalition of anti-LGBT conservatives issued a joint letter opposing that legislation on the grounds that it infringes on ‘religious liberty’.  Joining me today to talk all about the proposed piece of legislation and the reason why conservatives are trying to fight it is Zack Ford the LGBT editor of ThinkProgress.org.
