Today on The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

Last week, Hillary Clinton gave an important speech on Donald Trump’s history of racism and the connection between the Alt-Right movement and his campaign.  However, according to Joan Walsh The Nation’s National Affairs Correspondent the way the media covered it was abysmal, and too many outlets equated her speech documenting Trump’s racism with his baseless accusation that she is a bigot.  Joan joins me today on the show to talk all about the way that the media is covering Trump’s racism.

What happens, when after nearly 30 years, your estranged father makes contact?  What happens when said father lets you know that at a late age, they’ve transitioned into a woman?  My guest, award-winning author and journalist Susan Faludi, experienced this first hand and details her journey to reconnect with her estranged father, now living in Hungary, to ask the question, “Could a new identity not only redeem but expunge its predecessor?”.  Susan Faludi joins me now to talk about her book, “In The Darkroom”.
