Giuliani Now For Marriage Amendment

At the Fox News Republican Debate last night Giuliani, who said on my show back in 2004 that we "don't need an amendment," said he's now for the federal marriage amendment. It didn't appear help at the Values Voter Summit, however, where he came in next to last in the straw poll. As you know, he's been flipping and flopping on gay relationships for quite some time, having come on my show in 2003 and said he was for civil unions only to then say he was against them.

Apparently, Giuliani, before the debate, was telling Tony Perkins of Family Research Council that he now supports an amendment, which Perkins said was "good to hear." (Via Pam's House Blend -- and BTW, Pam, who comes on the show a lot, will be among those sitting in for blogger and constitutional law attorney Glenn Greenwald -- who also comes on the show a lot -- while he takes a break this week. So be sure to check it out.)

Boy, who will Log Cabin Republicans back now?
