Bikini Ban Lifted; Bikini Bootleggers Bummed
You may remember Kanab, Utah as the place that passed a provision supporting "the natural family," and we had fun with that on the show back in 2006, speaking to Kanab residents on the phone.
Well, town leaders do seem to be loosening up: They will now at least let women wear bikinis in the soon-to-open public pool. One city leader (a lady city leader no less) said the prohibition of bikinis was "unintentional" and an "oversight" but added "My recommendation is going to be no thongs." Talk about real leadership!
Oh and Kanab's public pool will be called the "Cowboy Water'n Hole," which vaguely sounds like a gay bar we used to go to in the Tenderloin.
