Straight-Acting Gay Men and the Gays Who Love Them.
A listener suggested this as a show topic to us in an e-mail over the weekend:
Assimilating: Why do some gay men who place personal ads claim, Straight acting andstraight appearance? What is wrong with Gay acting and Gay appearance?Now, we on the Signorile Show Team may just be speaking for ourselves here, but few things want to make us barf more than when gay men use the phrase "straight-acting" in reference to themselves or someone they're looking to date. What does it even mean to be "straight-acting" anyways? After all, no matter how "straight" a gay guy acts he probably still has gay sex.
