Tennessee Church Shooter's Reading List

We had quite a spirited conversation on the show yesterday about the Tennessee church shooting, thanks to your insightful and passionate calls.

Most of us were right on, as today it's reported that upon entering and searching the shooter's house, a personal library of books was found, including: Michael Savage's "Liberalism is a Mental Health Disorder", Sean Hannity's "Let Freedom Ring", and "The O'Reilly Factor".

The shooter left that 4 page letter confirming his hatred of liberals "who are ruining the country". He targeted the church "because of its liberal teachings and his belief that all liberals should be killed because they were ruining the country", and felt "Democrats had tied his country's hands in the war on terror and they had ruined every institution in America with the aid of media outlets."

His hatred for liberals was only matched by that of gays.

We often make fun of the vicious ignorant hateful comments made by such people as Savage, Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh and others to help bring them to light, but it's times like these that we are reminded of the destructive message behind their words; the same words we spoke about from others like Hagee, Robertson, Dobson and the rest, who we talked about yesterday, the same people embraced by McCain.
