On Today's Show

One thing you can always depend on each Christmas: 1) The Pope will attack gays and gay marriage (and this year transexuality) for all the violence in the world -- during his message about peace, joy and unity; 2) some crazed heterosexual will perpetrate a Christmas Eve massacre during the supposed season of comfort and joy, usually inspired by the stresses of his heterosexual marriage and the holiday season itself. Yes, we have a lot to talk about!

Also: As posted below, Does Melissa Etheridge get the shoe? We'll have a discussion about it,as we update the Rick Warren controversy.

I'll also -- by popular demand -- rebroadcast my interview with the filmmakers of "Milk," now that so many people have seen it over the holidays. We'll remember Eartha Kitt, look forward to Obama's challenges, and give away lots of books in our Holiday Book Bonanza!

UPDATE: We are giving away a signed screenplay of "Milk," the biopic of Harvey Milk, signed by screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and producers Dan Jenks and Bruce Cohen, at top of hour three. The question will be about something discussed in my interview with all three filmmakers, being rebroadast in the second half of hour two. Good luck!
