South Carolina Will Be "So Gay"

It is so predictable that the "So Gay" ad campaign that sent conservatives in South Carolina into a meltdown and cost one employee his job, it turns out, was nixed by Gov. Mark Sanford, who is on John McCain's VP short list.

But South Carolina activists are fighting back, using this as an opportunity and turning it into a big win. Matt Comer, who broke the story of Sanford's input for the paper he edits, QNotes, reports that South Carolina Pride will raise the money and run the ads on their own. And one image they're going to run is a twist on things: "South Carolina Will Be So Gay." Indeed it will be.
